My Mission

Dr. Amundson’s focus is to place an emphasis on education and prevention and to provide high-quality oral health care to patients of all ages. Dr. Amundson strives to bring a gentle touch to dentistry and aims to educate her patients with all options rather than rushing through the process.

Life & Hobbies

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Amundson has a passion for cooking and entertaining. Most of her weekends are spent cheering on her kids at their games and she coaches her daughters in softball. Dr. Lisa grew up in the Cottage Grove/Woodbury area and resides here with her husband, Erik, and their three kids.

Dr. Porter stays up to date on the latest technologies and procedures in dentistry. He provides general family dentistry services to patients of all ages and has completed many hours of continuing education in emergency dental care, oral surgery, extractions, root canal treatment, dental implants, and orthodontic treatments.

Life & Hobbies

Prior to working in dentistry, Dr. Porter worked for eight years at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis in surgical ICU nursing. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys taking fishing trips to Canada, attending hockey games, riding his motorcycle, and taking trips with friends to explore the outdoors. He has lived in Cottage Grove with his wife, Lisa, and their three sons since 2003.
